Before you say the sinner's prayer. I think it is important for you to know why this has to be done. Below is a clip taken from the tv series called E.R. It's about where a man is dying from cancer, and he wants to make atonement with God. For he has killed someone, because they killed someone he knew, whom he later found out was innocent of that crime. Watch the video, it has a lot of truth to it. And the commentator will explain it.
Would you like to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? You might be thinking that: Why would Jesus want someone like me?... Jesus died on the cross for all sin and all people. He leaves no one person out. He will accept you with open arms and come into your heart and give you peace that is beyond all understanding. He will forgive you of all your sins regardless of what they are or how bad they may be.
If you do want Jesus to come into your heart, it's very simple, just say this prayer:
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. And I know that you sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and that he rose from the dead in 3 days. I want Jesus to come into my heart and have all my sins forgiven. Please help me and guide me through my walk in the faith. For I ask all these things in the name of Jesus, Amen!
If you said that prayer, Welcome to the body of Christ! The angels in heaven celebrate you in your decision. You are now a child of God!
