My opinion about this: As a Christian we should look at this as an example of what happens when we try and do carnal works:
Carnal works are when we spend our time and energy trying to do only what God can do.
This is what Kent Hovind did. He spent to much time trying to fight Cesar, and wasted time that could have been used for saving souls for the kingdom and convincing people for creation. He was not weighting what was more important to what the goal of a ministry is supposed to be. So because Hovind kept to this trail, he will get to walk this trail around his mountain of trouble until he learns this lesson. The lesson that you cannot fight a fight that only God can win. And you cannot decide what is more important as far as God is concerned.
As a creation ministry, will you still support Hovind? Yes. You don't bail out just because someone makes a mistake. Or someone falls. For if Christ treated us the way we would like to treat Hovind (a flesh response), because we are afraid of what someone might think, how many of us would be still saved? If we separate from Hovind for this one thing, then we also give more fuel for the fire that evolutionists have already started against creation.
Are you worried about the damage to the image of this ministry? If I worried about what everyone thought about this ministry, it would not be what it is today. The only person any ministry should worry about, is the one person in which each ministry should be based upon, which is God. If the decision about this is more made upon how a ministry will look to others, then you have missed the point. Did Christ ever worry about how it looked as He preached and teached? Nope. People will think what they want regardless of what we do. Trying to do damage control is one of the main things that is wrong with most ministries today. What will people think if we do that? Where is God in that type of thinking?
What is your main reason for sticking behind Hovind? Many Christians believe in him, and he has brought many to Christ. To abandon him, is to also abandon them. I will not make a decision that will separate the body of Christ to the tune of lost souls. Just because I am worried about how I look. A creation ministry should not be out there to impress those behind science. It should be out there with the main goal of saving souls for the kingdom.
The Body of Christ is supposed to be one. As a creation ministry, if we do not stand as one on this issue. We do more harm than good. Why? We force Christians to make a decision about who they will go with. When the actual decision should be for Christ always. We should not be making people choose within the Body of Christ, when the one choice should be clear. The only choice that makes the Body of Christ one.
Hovind broke the law, why should he still be considered inside the body of Christ? Does one sin condemn you? If you ask forgiveness, and repent. Would not Christ forgive? Then who are we to make such judgements about people Christ has forgiven? We are not supposed to judge. For can anyone take the place of God? For who is the only real being that will make the decision about who enters heaven? So if you judge Hovind here, you are trying to be God here. Can you say you have such knowledge as God to make such judgements? And if so, I'd like to see verses supporting such knowledge.
So what do you think other creation ministries should do concerning this? Do what Christ would do. Forgive, and then stand behind Hovind. United we stand, divided we fall. It can't be any clearer than that.
Is it only Christians that come against Cesar (our government) and not want to pay taxes? Nope. Wesley Snipes has been recently arrested for doing the same thing.
The charge against Snipes includes allegations that he filed a false amended return including a false tax refund claim of over $4 million for the year 1996 and a false amended return including a false tax refund claim of over $7.3 million for the year 1997. The government alleges in the indictment that Snipes attempted to obtain fraudulent tax refunds using a discredited "tax protester theory" called the 861 argument (essentially, an argument that the domestic income of U.S. citizens and residents should not be taxable). The indictment said Snipes used accountants who already had a history of filing false returns to obtain refund payments for their clients. Under the alleged deal, the firm American Rights Litigators was to receive, from the clients, an amount equal to 20 percent of the tax refunds obtained for those clients.
So for the evolutionists who try and maintain that it is only Christian fundies who do this. Here is an example of a atheist-evolutionist fundie who did the same thing. But you won't see this discussed on their forums, and website to the extent of hatred that you will it discussed about Hovind. But then again it's ok if they do it. Their favorite slogan: Do as we say, but not as we do.

Wesley Snipes is not the only person in the news doing a big offense like Hovind. One of NASA's own has done things much worse than either Hovind or snipes. In the links I leave below, I want you to notice that every charge against Lisa Nowak has the word alleged put before it. And notice on the Kent Hovind report the word alleged was never used. Even before he was arrested he was considered guilty by the evolutionists scientific community.
Nowak, a 43-year-old Navy captain and married mother of three, had already been charged with attempted kidnapping, attempted vehicle burglary with battery, destruction of evidence and battery. Just as she was she was going to be released.....
A judge earlier Tuesday said she could be freed on $15,500 bail provided she stay away from the other woman and wear a monitoring device. But as Nowak was about to be released, she was notified more charges were pending, Orange County jail spokesman Allen Moore said."The intent was there to do serious bodily injury or death," (which was omitted from her wiki page) Orlando Police Sgt. So Nowak, what was the knife, steel mallet, rubber tubing, and large garbage bags for? Body disposal? I guess your education and training has taught you to come prepared. So Nowak's intent was murder. All because of a adulterous affair that was either already underway. Or in the making. So even though Hovind did not attempt these things, who is it that is made out to be the worse villain by the words used to explain their crimes? Hovind of course. So when is tax evasion become worse than attempted murder? When attempted murder is done by a well known, well educated NASA astronaut who is admired by the scientific community. And the tax evader happens to believe in God. Believing in God just makes all your wrong doings worse than anyone else. As all evolutionists "God haters" will tell you.
Question: Was Nowak showing her well educated intellect when she wore the diaper so she could drive for several hours non-stop? Or was she just plain stupid?
So is Nowak still the right stuff for NASA?
"Our primary concern is her health and well-being and that she get through this," Lindsey told reporters afterward. Ferguson said he was "perplexed" by Nowak's alleged actions. (They have to use the word alleged. Their finest can never do wrong).
So what did NASA do about Nowak?
For now, NASA has put Nowak on a 30-day leave and removed her from mission duties. NASA spokesman John Ira Petty at Johnson Space Center in Houston said he was concerned about the people involved and their families. But, he added, "We try not to concern ourselves with our employees' personal lives."
30 day leave for attempted muder by their finest who can do no wrong, sounds about right.

While searching the video section of youtube, I could not believe what I found. Evidently, evolutionists think Hovind's ministry is dead because Hovind is in jail. So they have gone as far as to break the law to get back at Hovind. They have recorded his phone calls from jail, and posted this on the Internet. So their are two laws broken here:
1) Invasion of privacy without a court ordered phone tap. Makes me wonder how they got these phone calls.
2) Because the private conversation was made public, it now becomes a Federal Offense.

Anyone who has seen one of Kent Hovinds meetings know that he uses Power Point slides. Evolutionists have been on the brunt end of how well these presentations work. Someone e-mailed me and tried to convince me that everything, including phone calls, are public record when it comes from jail. I don't see other jail phone calls being published on the internet.
Fair usage comment: Site is used to educate people about creation, and is an ongoing research to find truth. It is also a critisism of any untruth evidence that may be found.

I have noticed that websites and forums put up stuff to, more or less, attack someone. In one forum someone brought up a very good question that was over looked which got me to thinking: Does anyone check on the fruits of a particular ministry before bad mouthing it?
Being able to bare good fruit is God's sign of approval. Can a ministry bare fruit that is not approved by God? You might ask: But what about all the stuff that a person does? If God were to judge all ministries by the individual that runs it, how many would stand? And if you started one, and allowed God to judge it the way you judge others, how far would you get? Sin of opinionation.
The sin that a individual commits is between them and God.
Would it be fair to post everything about you while you did not have the same access about them? If an attack website or forum thread were started in your name, and everyone participated because of a recorded audio that everyone wanted to criticise. They even took what you said out of context. Took your jokes and made them look like your actual views. Took a comment about the IRS, that was just an opinion, called the IRS, and had your ministry audited? Does everyone else love the IRS? Does everyone else love to pay taxes? So what makes you or me any different, in opinion, then the person would made a statement about not liking the IRS?
So the websites and forums threads about you continues. Some actually believe all that is said, and even add a few opinions of their own. Soon some people start to believe that your some type of monster, even though they have never met you, or even listened to the tape spoke of. But you decided to provide the audio part of your tape online to try and clear things up. Problem is, everyone has already formed an opinion about you, so the only thing they really hear on the tape are the parts everyone criticises, or takes out of context.
Regardless of your best efforts, your peers attack you and smear your name. The same peers who are supposed to be like Christ. You start to feel like your in some type of gossip magazine, and everyone is just waiting for the next thing you do so they can dissect it. You sit and wonder: Christ forgave us, why can't my peers forgive me? For there are some who have done much worse than I am accused of, but are still behind the pulpit preaching. Why does everyone hate me so? And as time goes on, websites go up in your name. Just to attack you and everything you do. It even gets so bad that a lie comes out saying that you were arrested and jailed for tax evasion. Though it did not happen, the crowd that is now feeding off the gossip that is spreading like a wild fire, gobble this up and never ask questions.
You've been tagged by your peers, and also those who would stand against you because of your stance for God. It becomes so bad, you can't tell who is a child of God, and who is not, as you are rip to shreds on several hundred websites and forums. You pray and ask, where did I go wrong? And God answers: They persecuted me, and they'll persecute you for my namesake. You then realize that it was not what you did wrong. It was what you did right. And because you stood for something you believed in, and became a threat to all who wished not to believe. You now became a target. A target of Satan, who will use anything and everything to bring you down.
Through the attacks of your peers, you learn a few lessons in the school of hard knocks. The school of spiritual attacks. And because you do not waiver, you become stronger. You now become what you were not before. A person with a desire for Christ. You learn to humble yourself in the face of hate which baffles the minds of all who hate you. You soon start to understand how Christ felt as almost everyone turned against Him. And this makes you stronger because you realize that your not being whipped, your not having a crown of thorns placed on your head. Christ did all that for you, and you are only experiencing a small portion of what Christ had to endure. What seemed unbearable, now makes you stronger. What used to make you mad, now makes you humble.
Welcome to the world of those who strive for Christ. What you do to them, was done to Christ. And if they see it for what it is, it only makes them stronger. But what about those who do this thing to other Christians? What does God's word say?
Judging:
We judge others as if we are better. But if we were put in the same limelight, how would we fair? And would those who hate Christ have anything to attack? Or would you look like a friend of the world, a friend of the enemy?. If you were accused of a crime that where it was death to stand up for Christ, in what degree would the jury find you guilty? Would it be first degree, second degree, third degree, misdemeanor, or would you walk out because there was not enough evidence to convict you? If this got you wondering about your life with Christ, imagine what it will be like on judgement day and this is what you want to be guilty of so you can enter the kingdom. How would you fair? Is it in question? Because once your there, you cannot change your past. But while your here, you can. and if you do nothing, who's fault is it? And who has to pay?
